Letter Tiles For Alphabet Sorts

Description

These letter tiles are ideal for a range of hands-on and fine motor activities. Simply print (on coloured card or paper is best) and laminate so you can use them again and again. Use these letter tiles to make your own alphabet sorts.

Includes:

• 26 letters of the alphabet presented in 25 different fonts in a mixture of upper and lowercase.
• 26 larger letter cards (one card for each letter of the alphabet (to label your bowls for sorting).

How I use them:

1. I select which letters I would like to use (eg. SATPIN letters).
2. Print, laminate and cut the chosen letter tiles and larger cards.
3. I conceal the letter tiles somehow. I hide them in coloured rice, the sandpit, in playdough – be creative!
4. I attach the larger letter cards onto small bowls for sorting.
5. Students now use tweezers to find the letter tiles and place them into the correct bowl.
